This practice certainly should be stopped. It is nothing but absolute exploitation of the most vulnerable people. Very often these houses are oversubscribed so if €500 is being charged then how much money is being made? How could people afford to do this? I call on the Government to introduce a simple Bill addressing this issue to put this noxious practice out of favour. It should not be allowed.
