I will support the restaurant sector across the board.

Senator Reilly referred to changes to the Iarnród Éireann timetable. I do not have the relevant information to hand but it is important to acknowledge that there is a need to bring balance to timetabling. I support Senator Reilly on that.

Senators Conway-Walsh and Wilson raised the issue of autism assistance dogs. The Irish Guide Dogs in Cork have a similar scheme. It is a wonderful initiative providing support to people. I congratulate Clonakilty on its autism-friendly approach and on making it a better place in which to live. I would be happy for the Minister to attend the House for a debate on the matter.

Senator Lawlor referred to the €17 billion health budget. There is a need for accountability and debate of the service plan. Yesterday, I said there is no accountability or questioning of executives. I hope that will happen in the future.

We all welcome the amount of money allocated to housing in the budget. It is important to recognise that. We want to see people living in their own homes.

Senator Conway raised the issue of World Sight Day and that four out of every five people have lost their sight unnecessarily. More work needs to be done to raise awareness of this. It is important people go to their opticians and get their eyes checked.

Senator Warfield referred to the disparity regarding the youth part of the budget. To be fair to the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Deputy Zappone, she has seen an increase in the budgets for youth work, childcare and a package for tackling child poverty. The point the Senator made on the social protection budget is about activation measures and people being able to get a job. We would be happy to have that debate in due course.

The current forecast relating to Storm Callum warns of 130 km/h winds that will pose a risk to life and to property. I hope people take care and check in on their elderly neighbours. A clear code warning has been issued by Met Éireann. I hope the emergency services will be assisted by people not taking risks but by being cautious.
