I just want to clarify. Fianna Fáil supports a referendum in 2019. We will support 16 and 17 year olds in general elections, local elections and European elections. As a mother and as someone who has worked with the public for 20 years and with ógra and other groups, I will 100% support them. That is not the issue. I have said we in Fianna Fáil will work with this. We have made such a commitment in our manifesto. However, we feel that a general election is every bit as important as local elections and European elections and we will get the three together and deliver this to the 16 and 17 year olds in Ireland.
