I welcome the Tánaiste to the House, and I welcome our visitors in the gallery. They are very welcome here for tonight's important debate. I commend Senator Black and her colleagues in the Civil Engagement group, as well as Senator Norris, on putting forward this important Bill. I had the pleasure of attending a Sadaka conference on Palestine some months ago, at which Senator Black's Bill was announced, and at which a number of us had the opportunity to discuss it at length. On behalf of the Labour Party Members of the Seanad, I am happy to support the Bill. It is in keeping with the long track record of the Labour Party on Palestinian rights.
