I re-emphasise that we are still in a crisis. I understand that the Minister is doing everything in his power to deal with the housing and homelessness crisis. However, it is something that continues to evolve. I understand he is doing his best. With regard to our recent debates in the Seanad before Christmas and the changes in legislation, all Acts, even new ones, must be open to constructive change and to evolution. We only just discussed it. It is not good enough. We need to continue the process of discussion and debate in times of crisis.

Just to refer to some of the comments today, I had a sense of déjà vuwhen I heard Senator Murnane O'Connor talking about her Fianna Fáil proposal and how she felt about the Bill. It is not so long ago that we were discussing microbeads in the Chamber and, once again, Senator Murnane O'Connor attacked. To that I say, "You come up with the goods and the solutions."
