Derelict and Vacant Sites Bill 2017: Second Stage

I have had some of it robbed from me so I will finish very quickly. Senator Murnane O'Connor referred to introducing legislation on anti-social behaviour. If the Bill were passed and we got rid of the derelict sites then we would solve the problem anyway. That is what we need to see happen.

Táimid ar son aon Bhille a thugann níos mó cosanta don tionónta agus níos mó soiléiriú don phróiseas ar fad. If we are talking about new politics then let us see it in action. Let us allow the Bill to go to the next Stage, but let us not leave it to die in Committee Stage limbo either, as we have seen that being used as a tactic. If sympathy were bankable, very few homeless people would not be millionaires at the moment with the amount of sympathy we hear. They need action rather than sympathy.
