I join the Acting Chairman in extending a welcome to Foreign Minister Crnadak and the ambassador, H.E. Mr. Neškovic from Bosnia Herzegovina. I had the opportunity to have a very positive and constructive bilateral engagement with the delegation this morning. Ireland and Bosnia Herzegovina have a great deal in common. We note the application of Bosnia Herzegovina for accession as a member state of the European Union and in that regard Ireland can continue to be of assistance. Notwithstanding the very challenging issues facing the European Union in terms of migration, terrorism and, of course from our own perspective, the withdrawal of the United Kingdom, it is important that the accession agenda continues the process of enlargement. I was delighted to have the opportunity for a positive engagement and I wish the delegation every success on its visit to Ireland.
