I accept your point, a Chathaoirligh. I acknowledge that a number of my colleagues are in the UK with the British-Irish Parliamentary Assembly and Brexit is a hugely important issue.

I, too, will support amendment No. 6. Is there any chance the Minister of State could give us some reassurance? I refer to the line, "not later than 30 October2019, the Minister will review the operation and effectiveness of ... the provisions." Am I correct in saying it would be open at that stage for the Minister to call for an independent review to report to him? I support the amendment. I do not wish to delay the Bill but I wish to ask the Minister of State the question.
