I would like to support Senator Daly's call for Louise O'Keeffe to be invited to address this House. I will certainly be supporting any such requests that come before the Committee on Procedures and Privileges. I also support Senator Humphreys in his call for the Taoiseach to come to the House. The Taoiseach should be obliged to come to this House at least three times per year and address us on various issues. In addition to what Senator Humphreys has outlined in his request, I would like the Taoiseach, who is Minister for Defence, to outline his policy in relation to that Department.
