I move amendment No. 30:

In page 19, to delete lines 18 and 19 and substitute the following:“(b) have access to the labour market no later than 9 months from the date when the application for international protection was lodged if a first instance decision by the Tribunal has not been taken and the delay cannot be attributed to the applicant,”.

This amendment is self-explanatory and I would like to hear the Minister of State's response. It is a reasonable request that people could join the labour market within a reasonable period and I suggest that period should be nine months.
