This arose following a critical review of a recommendation. We are moving more rapidly to defined contributions. There is a crossover of expertise here. In respect of the schemes in operation, my officials have informed me that there are more than 62,000 schemes in Ireland and there are approximately 700 defined schemes so there is a certain amount of logic following the review carried out. That was one of the recommendations and it was dealt with in the heads of the Finance Bill. This is an enabling provision but they will operate separately for a period until the Finance Bill has gone through.
