I hope that we will see action from the Minister and Minister of State in this regard. Recent circulars issued by the Department regarding attendances at conferences should be withdrawn. I have asked that they be, but there is no sign of that happening yet.

Like Senator Bacik, Senator Mullins called for a debate when we return on the Turkish-Syrian border and terrorist attacks. Like Senator Conway, he also raised the issue of national farm safety day. The Irish Farmers' Association, IFA, has issued a risk assessment planner. I have seen it and it is excellent. Last week, the House held a good debate with the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Deputy Coveney, on the question of farm safety and the public consultation committee's report. There is a need for greater vigilance by farm families on their farms. Too many people are killed in farm accidents. Last year was a particularly bad one, so let us all be vigilant. I compliment the IFA on its national farm safety day.

Senator Ó Domhnaill called for pre-budget debates. Yesterday, I mentioned that I would ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Deputy Howlin, to address pre-budget debates in the House. It was suggested by another Senator that the Minister was prepared to do so. We will put that to the test.

Senator Paul Coghlan raised the issue of gorse fires and the need for common sense. It is a serious issue. There are many such fires throughout the country, and some get out of control. All agencies must get involved if the fires are to be controlled.

I join other Senators in wishing all Members a good summer break. I thank the Cathaoirleach, the staff of the Seanad,-----
