I saw a copy of a letter he wrote, and I do not know whether it was after the time in question, to add GPs to the list of medical professionals under section 12(a) for those in the 16 to 17 age group. Another issue is the promised review of the legislation, which will specifically consider the needs of persons aged under 16. The Minister did not bring amendments to that effect to Cabinet.
