Government amendment No. 15: In page 9, to delete lines 29 to 32 and substitute the following: ""(4) (a) Subject to paragraph (b), an application for renewal of registration shall be made before the expiration of the period of validity of registration and the renewal of fee shall be paid before the expiration of such period. (b) Where, in accordance with subsection (4A), the Council notifies a registered teacher that it intends to seek a vetting disclosure in respect of him or her for the purposes of renewing his or her registration, the teacher shall comply with that notice within the period referred to in paragraph (d) of that subsection.",".
