I move amendment No. 4:

In page 14, between lines 24 and 25, to insert the following:“(10) The operator shall ensure that verifiably calibrated and tamper proof flow meter systems are used to accurately monitor the volume of petroleum extracted.”.

There is a lot of confusion about the amount of oil and gas that lies off the coast of Ireland. These amendments were tabled because it is important that information provided by the extractors of petroleum is accurate and shows the true amount of what is extracted.
