We should try to explain to people why, when the Government sells their mortgages to a vulture fund, they have no opportunity to get a discount on their mortgages in the same way multi-billion dollar enterprises did when the Government sold the IBRC residential mortgage book at a substantial discount. People in the portfolio will have their houses repossessed on the back of it.
