Workplace Relations Bill 2014: Report and Final Stages

That is because it is standard practice until it does not happen. Then, when a trade union or an employer seeks to get the information, they have no legal right to it. I am disappointed to hear the Minister say that as it is standard practice there is no need to put it into legislation. It seems to me a very sensible, moderate, mild and very short answer to what is likely to become a much bigger problem if we do not do something about it. I am concerned that the Minister is satisfied by the fact that it is standard practice, rather than wants to make it enforceable.
