Children and Family Relationships Bill 2015: Committee Stage
10:30 am
John Crown (Independent) | Oireachtas source
In general, the advice available to the Minister has obviously been expert and she has dealt with some complexities. I am sorry to always cite extreme cases but a person who has become infertile in childhood as a result of treatment for childhood cancer or leukaemia or has had his testicles removed or her ovaries removed does not have to wait three years after the age of 18 years to know that he or she is infertile.
