I hope that never comes to being. I am sure the Minister will come to the House to debate the matter. The Minister has stressed the need for competitiveness and for research and development in those areas, especially the manufacturing areas. I am sure the Minister will come in to address the point and have a debate on the issue in the near future.

Senator Crown spoke about the overcrowding of accident and emergency departments and the delayed discharges. He suggested that the Government, and especially Fine Gael, should go back to what was suggested about the funding before the last general election. I will certainly take that matter on board. He also spoke about the Russian Government preventing some ambassadors from attending the funeral service of the opposition leader, which matter I mentioned previously.

Senator Wilson also congratulated his fellow County Cavan man on becoming president of Cumann Lúthchleas Gael. He echoed what Senator Craughwell said about the ETBs and called for the Minister to come to the House to debate the junior certificate again. She has been in the House. I would not agree with the Senator that the Minister is ignoring the practitioners. I believe she has come a long way in negotiations and obviously there will be further negotiations on the junior certificate. The Minister has come to the House to discuss that matter on a number of occasions previously.
