I have received notice from Senator David Cullinane that he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to outline how many IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland jobs were created and lost in Waterford from 2008, the number of IDA Ireland client site visits to Waterford from 2008 to 2014 and the plans the Minister has to support job creation and retention in Waterford.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to clarify the current position on housing grants which will be made available for the adaptation of local authority houses to accommodate individuals within a family who have a physical or intellectual disability.

I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to state if she would see the value in leading out a new cross-departmental scheme for the provision of gymnasia for existing second level schools in conjunction with the Departments of Health, Transport, Tourism and Sport and Children and Youth Affairs.

I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:

An gá atá ann go ndéanfaidh an tAire Ealaíon, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta cur síos ar an tacaíocht a chuireann Údarás na Gaeltachta ar fáil do thionscadail agus cuideachtaí i ndáil le Slí an Atlantaigh Fhiáin a fhorbairt.

I have also received notice from Senator John Whelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice and Equality to address the urgent need to relocate Portlaoise Courthouse from the totally unsuitable and unsafe historic building on the town's main street to a more appropriate place.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised by Senators David Cullinane, Colm Burke, Fidelma Healy Eames and Trevor Ó Clochartaigh and they will be taken now. Senator John Whelan may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.

Senator David Cullinane has withdrawn his motion. We have just received notice that the Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, Deputy Ann Phelan, was to take Senator Colm Burke's motion but is not available to do so and there is no replacement.
