I support the amendment despite what Senator Cullinane has said. The amendment does not enable the forum to recommend but pre-empts a discussion by requiring it to recommend. However, I understand the principle behind the amendment and agree with it.

Usually the HSE issues health notices but the water people have traditionally issued the boil water notices.
