In light of the information and statement made by the Leader here today that Mr. McNulty has withdrawn his candidacy, although questions remain to be answered, I withdraw my amendment. I have asked for clarification on the electoral process and would welcome a note from the returning officer to be read into the Seanad record as soon as possible.
