I have received notice from Senator John Kelly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline his plans to speed up the processing of medical card applications and reviews.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to re-examine the decision not to include the Courtbrack area of County Cork in the roll-out of broadband, given that over 250 houses in this area, including over 50 houses in new housing estates, have inadequate telephone, mobile phone and Internet access.

I have also received notice from Senator Paul Bradford of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade to reconvene the adjourned Forum for Peace and Reconciliation to allow all interested parties and groupings to discuss the current political situation in Northern Ireland.

I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to provide for a gaelcholáiste to be located in north Kildare.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communication, Energy and Natural Resources to direct An Post to commit to keep open rural post offices such as those at Leitir Mhic an Bhaird and An Bun Beag in County Donegal.

I have also received notice from Senator Mary Moran of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to address the outdoor facilities and playground area in a school (details supplied) and to provide an update on upcoming funding opportunities for this school.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Kelly, Burke, Bradford and Byrne as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken on the conclusion of business. Senators Ó Domhnaill and Moran may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
