I ask the Deputy Leader to arrange a debate with the Minister for Justice and Equality on the supports offered to victims of racism and taking into account what steps will be taken to assure victims that they have nothing to fear in coming forward. I ask that the Minister consider introducing an independent reporting system for victims of racism, similar to that offered by the PSNI which is accessible 24 hours per day. I also ask that he review current legislation to ensure it is sufficiently robust to respond to racism in all its forms.
