Government amendment No. 20: In page 11, between lines 13 and 14, to insert the following: “Licences under section 16 of the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act 1977 16. A licence issued under section 16 of the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act 1977 and in force immediately before the transfer day shall, on and after that day, continue in force for the unexpired period of the licence as if granted by Irish Water.”.
