Government amendment No. 42: In page 14, to delete line 39, and in page 15, to delete lines 1 and 2 and substitute the following: "22. (1) As soon as may be after the commencement of this section, Irish Water shall prepare and submit to the Minister a scheme or schemes for the granting of superannuation benefits to or in respect of—(a) persons who were accepted into the employment of Irish Water in accordance with section 15, and (b) persons who were appointed under section 21 and, immediately prior to their appointment, were—(i) officers of the Minister, or (ii) members of the staff of a local authority.".
