I wish to inform the House that from now on, and for the assistance of Members, the Chair will announce to the House, where appropriate, the receipt of messages from committees reporting they have completed their consideration of matters referred to them by the Seanad. Messages will be announced by the Chair at the first convenient opportunity.

A message has been received from the Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality to the effect it has completed its consideration of the motions regarding a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council adapting to Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union a number of legal acts in the area of justice providing for the use of the regulatory procedure with scrutiny, and a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters.
