Irish Sign Language: Motion
11:50 am
Jillian van Turnhout (Independent) | Oireachtas source
We are dealing with motion No. 9 of No. 43 on the recognition of Irish Sign Language. Before we commence I welcome the members of the Irish Deaf Society. I thank the Leas-Chathaoirleach for making arrangements for sign language interpretation to the Gallery for this important debate. We are all very supportive of the initiative. It is great to see it in the Chamber. I invite Senator Conway to move the motion. He has ten minutes.
