I understand the Senator's commitment to this project. I know from dealing with Gaelscoileanna in my constituency and in other parts of the country the commitment and dedication of parents, teachers and boards of management of Gaelscoileanna. For someone interested in the Irish language, which we all are, the thousands of young children attending these schools and leaving them as fluent Irish speakers give us more hope than anything else that the language will live. I am sure the Senator will agree that progress is being made on this. Permanent recognition has been given to the school and negotiations are advancing for the purchase of a site. These things progress a step at a time. I will convey the Senator's interest in the project to the Minister.
