It is more relevant to section 9, but it probably has some relevance to this section as well. To deny that suicide is not a genuine risk to somebody's health and life, as some speakers appear to do, is to deny the facts of life. I have been a psychiatric nurse for 28 years. I have worked with groups in the community and I am rapporteur to the health committee on suicide prevention. I am not an expert, of course, but I have some knowledge about this. I have seen the effects of suicide, as has every Member of the House. We have discussed it many times in this Chamber, yet when it suits an argument the reality of it is denied. That must be challenged.
