I have listened carefully to Senator Crown and others. We are nearing the end of the debate, but I oppose the legislation for a simple reason. I have listened to the psychiatrists who gave evidence and contacted me. I have read written observations that clearly outlined that alternative methods to abortion exist for dealing with suicide ideation.
