Government amendment No. 5: In page 32, to delete lines 3 to 10 and substitute the following: “(c) in the case of a person appointed under section 30(1)(c), and subject to subsection (2), he or she ceases to be the parent of--(i) any child who has not reached 18 years of age and is registered as a student in a centre for education or recognised school, or (ii) a learner in a children detention school, prison, education or training facility or other facility maintained by any other public service body where the board provides education or training.".
