Business of Seanad

Denis O'Donovan (Fianna Fail) | Oireachtas source
I have received notice from Senator Colm Burke that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
I have also received notice from Senator Ned O'Sullivan of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health to clarify the up-to-date position in respect of the negotiations between the Health Service Executive, his Department and the Medical Council to enable doctors who are employed in the supervised division to now be registered in the general division thereby allowing them to continue working in Ireland.
To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to ensure that Iarnród Éireann puts in place suitable platform crossing infrastructure in rural railway stations.I regard the matter raised by Senator Burke as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken on the conclusion of business. I regret I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator O?Sullivan as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
