I have received notice from Senator Kathryn Reilly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Social Protection to outline her decision not to accept any new transport route under the free travel scheme in light of circumstances in which private operators have taken up routes that had been cut by Bus Éireann.
I have also received notice from Senator Denis O'Donovan of the following matter:
To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport whether he will make a statement on the status of the future of Bantry Bay Harbour board and to confirm the independence of this board into the future.
I have also received notice from Senator Imelda Henry of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to address the matter of funding for transition year, as a large number of schools have insufficient funding to enable all students who want to do transition year to do so.
I have also received notice from Senator Michael Mullins of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to indicate when he proposes to grant approval to go to tender for the new Ballinasloe library project.
I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:
Go dtabharfaidh Aire na Gaeltachta soiléiriú i dtaobh na socraithe atá dhá dhéanamh maidir le tacaíocht Stáit chun córas iompar báid agus aeir a chuir ar fáil do mhuintir thrí Oileán Árainn, i gContae na Gaillimhe agus cén plé leanúnach atá dhá dhéanamh le muintir na noileáín faoi seo.
I have also received notice from Senator John Kelly of the following matter:
To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality to outline the reasoning behind the renovation of Harristown House at Castlerea Prison and if so-called lifers are to be its sole occupants.
I have also received notice from Senator Averil Power of the following matter:
To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if any progress has been made on the commitment he gave to the Seanad on 2 May 2012 to introduce amendments to section 37 of the Employment Equality Act 1998 early in the new year.
I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senators Reilly, O?Donovan, Henry and Mullins and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Ó Clochartaigh, Kelly and Power may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
