It is very rich for Fianna Fáil Members to be speaking about property tax. They signed the country up to a property tax in the memorandum of understanding with the troika. Now, Fianna Fáil Members say it should not be introduced despite having signed up to bring it in a number of years ago. Credibility is beginning to wear off and the sheen is beginning to run on this issue. There is no credibility whatsoever but I am glad the party has new ideas in opposition. It is always good to have new ideas in opposition but the party never introduced them when it was in power. I doubt whether the leopard will change its spots in that regard.

I welcome the Senator's comments in respect of the equine DNA issue.
