I have received notice from Senator Mark Daly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to outline the future of the rural transport scheme in County Kerry as the current contracts will cease in July 2013.

I have also received notice from Senator John Kelly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide funding for a stabilisation unit for Roscommon Hospital where heart attack, stroke and accident victims can be safely treated before being transferred to the most appropriate hospital.

I have also received notice from Senator Mary Moran of the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the reason a school in Dundalk, County Louth, which was added to the Department's list for an extension in 2009, was advised by letter, having completed stage one of the plans for an extension to the Department's satisfaction, that it has not been included on the five year plan for school extensions.

I have also received notice from Senator Marie Moloney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to approve funding for the provision of a sewerage scheme for Kilcummin, Killarney, County Kerry.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health, Health Service Executive, voluntary organisations and health professionals to work together to bring forward a comprehensive policy of making the general public aware of the benefits of organ donation.

I have also received notice from Senator David Cullinane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to discuss the cuts to further education in budget 2013 and the effect these will have on Waterford College of Further Education and the teacher allocation at the college.

I have also received notice from Senator Averil Power of the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to respond to the serious concerns that have been raised by local business, community and sporting groups about the proposed plan to introduce paid parking at Howth Harbour.

I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:

To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to specify where responsibility lies and what action will be taken regarding a dangerous site-large hole in Oranhill, Oranmore, County Galway, belonging to a non-cooperative owner and on which there is a live planning permission; and if the Derelict Sites Act 1990 applies.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Kelly, Moran, Daly and Moloney and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Burke, Cullinane, Power and Healy Eames may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
