Our lives have come full circle.

Mr. Mitchell mentioned the solidarity among the member states and their people.

Where there may not be solidarity among the member states is on the issue of our corporate tax rate of 12.5%. Is there a great difference among the rates of all 27 member states? Ours is the lowest. Mr. Mitchell referred also to the disproportionality of our representation in the EU. Will this force us into harmonising our corporate tax rate?
