There is only one person who can hold those banks to account, namely, the Minister for Finance, irrespective of whether he is Sinn Féin, Fianna Fáil, Green Party or Labour Party. We need the Minister to come to the House to answer our serious questions about the banks, NAMA and other matters. If there are questions about the public interest directors they should be put to the Minister. I appeal to the Leader to arrange for that debate early in the new year.
