Government amendment No. 163: In page 121, before section 147, but in Part 5, to insert the following new section: "174.?Section 4 (as amended by section 5 of the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003) of the Data Protection Act 1988 shall not apply to data processed by?(a) the Insolvency Service, (b) an inspector appointed under section 164, or (c) the Complaints Committee,in the performance of functions assigned to those persons under this Act in so far as those functions relate to carrying out an investigation under this Part.".
