As the Leader will be aware, over the weekend there were quite a number of reports through the print and broadcast media with regard to commentary that has been associated with the Minister for Education and Skills, Deputy Quinn, particularly his view expressed at a private meeting of the Labour Parliamentary Party that the Minister for Health, Deputy Reilly, was, it seems, "not up to the job". When questioned further on this issue, Deputy Quinn, apparently said "I'm not going to confirm or deny or in any way change my comment that I've made-----"
