Government amendment No. 72: In page 64, lines 31 to 44, to delete subsections (3) to (6) and substitute the following: ?(3) A creditor to whom a preferential debt is owed shall not be entitled to vote in respect of that debt in favour of a proposal for a Debt Settlement Arrangement at a creditors? meeting unless that creditor has furnished to the personal insolvency practitioner a waiver in writing of the creditor?s right to have that debt treated as a preferential debt.?.
