I am not wandering anywhere. I am making a point about a court case that took place in Waterford a few weeks ago, where a former Fine Gael town councillor was found guilty of corruption in respect of a planning and rezoning issue in the county. It is important to have an independent, thorough investigation into what happened in County Waterford. It is also important that we move beyond those investigations, because the Mahon report looked at this and many other issues around the State. It made a number of clear recommendations, including the need for an independent planning regulator who will be free from political pressures. That needs to happen as soon as possible. I call for a full and proper debate on the planning system in this country, on political corruption, which is still evident, and the need for full investigations on issues in respect of Waterford and other counties. We also need to debate the need to implement the findings of the Mahon tribunal.
