Yes, absolutely. Not to be outdone, the Labour Party could not keep its snout out of the trough, with the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade appointing the party's former director of policy on a salary of €155,000. My concern is that this contagion has spread to the Office of the President. An adviser, whose salary was to be designated at €80,000, has had it increased to €103,000.
