Treaty on Stability, Cooperation and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union: Statements

Yes, we would all vote "No". At present, however, the only deal in town to manage our household budget, and it is a household and business budget in Ireland, is a "Yes" vote to secure a guaranteed stream of funding so we can maintain our services.

Our services do not merely include ourselves, the politicians.

They include the doctors, the nurses, the teachers. They also include those who are on welfare. Those who receive wealth from the State are also part of that €50 billion in service provision. When we make this decision, and if we do vote "No", we should think of the impact, damage and harm we could do to every man, woman and child in this country if we do not have access to those loans to maintain our economy.
