I have received notice from Senator Lorraine Higgins that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to discuss the issue of farm inspections and the breaches of EU law and-or all other laws and regulations pertaining to notice periods.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to outline the way he proposes to deal with the unsatisfactory water supply scheme in the Glantane, Lombardstown and Lahern area of County Cork where many houses are consistently left without water and if he will confirm that necessary funding will be provided to Cork County Council to replace the defective and outdated water pipes in the current scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for he Minister for Education and Skills to work with the Ombudsman for Children on putting an appeals mechanism in place for families who are not happy with decisions made by the State Examinations Commission.

I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:

Go dtabharfaidh an tAire Cumarsáide, Fuinneamh agus Acmhainní Nádúrtha míniú ar an moill atá leis an obair fhorbartha atá ar siúl ag an mBord Tionscnaimh Cóid Poist, cén cineál córas cóid atá molta acu, an mbeidh sé ábalta freastal ar gach teach sa Stát agus cén uair a bheidh sé ar fáil.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
