Senator Mullen and many other Senators raised the question of media standards. I am aware that RTE representatives will come before the relevant Oireachtas committee within the coming weeks. An inquiry was held by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, BAI, which vindicated and upheld Sean Gallagher's complaint. Many Senators have questioned the integrity of the national broadcaster and stated that to ensure its integrity is maintained, there should be a public inquiry into the matter. When the Minister came to the House previously, he indicated that he could return to discuss further the question of media standards. I will ask him to come back to the House to address that issue at a later stage.
