I heard the alarming bit of information as I was driving in this morning. It seems the advisers brought in by the previous Government to advise on whether the banks should have been bailed out had a vested interest in that two of them were bondholders. Pat Kenny has said he will do an investigation into this.

I ask the Leader to ensure that the Government checks out everyone of whom it asks advice. All of their interests and vested interests should be displayed.
