Will the Leader invite the associated Minister, who I assume is the Minister for Justice and Equality, to this House to discuss how we should be able to scrutinise statutory instruments as part of our workload in the Seanad, given that 733 of these were passed in a 12-month period without anybody looking at them, scrutinising or amending them to see how they might affect Ireland? This shows how the system, not only of the Seanad but of the Dáil, does not work. It needs to change now.
