The Minister, Deputy Reilly, met the residents and staff of Crooksling. He said he would like to think outside the box to resolve the decision of the HSE to close 555 beds. As a business person I understand there have to be efficiencies and improved costs. The staff in Crooksling know it has to be run efficiently. I would like the HSE to work with the Minister to resolve the issue as fast as possible to alleviate the angst and pain of families, clients and staff who work in nursing homes.
