I will not delay. I thank the Minister of State for such a comprehensive report because she has provided us with the answers to many of the questions we intended to ask. I have been a member of the VHI for more than 35 years. I struggled at times to pay my health insurance when my husband was unemployed and when I was unemployed but I dug deep and I was able to pay the premium. The VHI now tells me I am coming to an age when I will be a higher risk . When the VHI had a monopoly on health insurance and all the young and healthy people were paying for health insurance, the VHI was not jumping up and down and saying we were costing money. The VHI was well able to take our money and put it in its pockets-----
